Summary/objective:
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Contracted) to provide diagnostic and evaluation services to youth at Holston Home for Children (all assessment youth as well as continuum youth as requested). On sight scheduled/weekly testing required.
Requirements:
- Conducting psychological evaluations for all youth entering the assessment contract or continuum cases as referred, including
- A clinical interview
- A review and evaluation of available family functional assessment, behavioral information, and other background information made available to the PAC.
- Testing, which is tailored to the youth’s history of symptoms, previous testing, and to any referral questions provided by the team.
- Tests may include individually administered full (not abbreviated) test of intelligence, an objective personality measure, a projective personality measure, an individually administered measure of academic achievement which assesses basic reading, reading comprehension, mathematics calculation, mathematics reasoning, and written expression (IDEA categories), a full substance abuse history, and if the youth’s history indicates need, a drug screen and formal substance abuse assessment measure a complete DSM-5 diagnostic picture, with both DSM-5 and ICD-10 number codes given
- Recommendations to address specific admission questions and therapeutic and educational needs identified
- Specialized psychological evaluations when requested such as Substance-Related disorder assessment measures, Vocational interest or ability and Adaptive functioning.
- Participating in meetings and consultations regarding psychological services provided to youth as requested.
- Timely completion of written evaluation reports (15 days or less) provided to identified staff.
- Provide and assure personal professional liability insurance for all services rendered.
- Provide updated copies of current licensing and resume.
- Abide by all relevant ethical, legal, accreditation and licensing standards.
- Abide by confidentiality laws and regulations governing their perspective profession, duties, responsibilities.
Education-Licensed Psychologist or Senior Psychological Examiner
