Holston Home operates a variety of therapeutic programs that are part of the agency’s larger continuum of care providing residential services, foster care, special education, independent living, and intensive in-home services with birth families.
Our goal is to nurture and love each child in a Christian environment while individualizing a plan to address their educational, behavioral, spiritual, and mental health needs. We want each child to reach their God given potential as part of a forever family and also as a successful adult.
Every group care facility is staffed with trained teacher-counselors who provide support and supervision, all while building strong relationships with our youth. These staff are supported by Child and Family Specialists, program directors and supervisors, mental health professionals, adventure-based counselors, and a Christian Life team.
Referrals may come from private families, state custodial agencies, and other area provider agencies. Fees are negotiated with state agencies, and private families pay for services on a sliding scale based on income.
Licensed by the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.
Accredited by the Council on Accreditation (a national accrediting body).
