Adventure Program

From the thrill of high ropes to the possibility of introspection deep within a cave, the adventure-based counseling program helps build teamwork, self-respect, respect for others, and a sense of accomplishment within groups and individuals.

Students residing at Holston Home might find themselves on a river in canoes one day, camping the next, climbing our high wall in the gymnasium at Beacon School, or working in their own garden. It's all meant to experience and overcome life's challenges, and to learn confidence and new skills.
